Cooksmill’s vacuum Pouch "Nigel" is a practical and affordable solution for extending the life of various meat and food items. The vacuum pouch creates an airless environment to prevent food from spoiling. Due to the pouch being vacuumed and all of the air being expelled, this prevents the growth of microorganisms. Microorganisms are one of the key factors in food becoming unsafe or inedible.
The vacuum pouch also removes atmospheric oxygen which limits the growth of aerobic bacteria or fungi. This aspect also improves the life of the food item as there are much fewer aerobic bacteria in the pouch. Vacuuming food also reduces the amount of space that it takes up, this is a great help for busy establishments that need to be efficient with storage space.

Returning items purchased online
If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of the sale and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition. Please note you are required to arrange the transport of the return to us and cover any cost associated. We recommend that you use a tracked method to ensure this reaches us. We accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, stolen or undelivered packages. Please also put a note containing your order number in the package with the items.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.
If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.
If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
Delivery
Free delivery on all orders over £60 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.
Orders under £60 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service.
All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.
Please be aware that orders may come in separate deliveries from different locations within the Cooksmill fulfilment centres.
