Tenderizing refers to the process of breaking down the tissue and fibres in the meat to soften the texture and make it more succulent and flavourful, which is ideal for cheaper cuts of meat. If you keep this aluminium meat hammer with a wooden handle in your kitchen equipment drawer, you'll never have to deal with tough, chewy meat cuts again!

The textured side of this aluminium meat hammer pierces the flesh as you strike it, and the flat side flattens the meat so it cooks more evenly. The hammering motion softens the meat, but the spikes also form pockets that allow marinades and flavours to permeate deeper into the meat, resulting in a consistently delicious cut of meat each time.

This meat tenderiser is made of sturdy and durable aluminium and will not let you down. The hammer's entire head is made of one piece of metal aluminium and is attached to a long, comfy hardwood handle. The long handle is well-balanced and will be pleasant to hold for lengthy periods of time if necessary. Alternatively, you might keep it in your kitchen drawer and use it as needed.

To wash your meat hammer, wash well with hot and soapy water and ensure it is fully dry before you use it again. Do not use a dishwasher as this will damage the material over time.

You will need cling film also to place over the cut of meat whilst you’re tenderising. This helps to make sure that no juices or bits of the meat go everywhere and keep your workstation clean and tidy. Find our cling film, here:
