The Genware serving platter is made from natural acacia wood which has a beautiful grain. Each piece is unique and provides a stunning presentation.

Acacia is a durable hardwood from fast-growing trees. Its beautiful grain and varied colour give products a warm rich colour. Correct care of wood products can massively increase their longevity in use. Acacia wood is unsuitable for dishwashing and should only be washed in warm soapy water. It should not be left to soak in water, as this will cause damage to the product and should be dried immediately after washing. It should also not be left in direct sunlight and be stored in a cool dry place. Acacia can dry out with use, so occasional application of vegetable oil or food-safe wood treatment oil will help to keep the original natural appearance and prolong the life of the product.

Acacia wood is a natural material and its colour and grain will vary from product to product. Over a reasonable period, depending on the level of usage, you should expect the product's surface to show a level of wear and tear due to the nature of the wood.

Delivery

Free delivery on all orders over £60 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.

Orders under £60 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service. 

All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.

Please be aware that orders may come in separate deliveries from different locations within the Cooksmill fulfilment centres.

Returning items purchased online

If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of the sale and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.

If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.

If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
